Lots of photo in this post as I hope you’ll smile as much as me looking at all these colourful and bright images. I first met this incredibly fun family as I watched dad carve a kangaroo into his Halloween pumpkin at a neighbourhood party. By that time they had already been living in Calgary for 10 months. Another fabulous opportunity that families take full advantage of… living in another country for a year, or two, or three. And oh my, had I only wished I had met them earlier in the year. What a fun, beautiful, down-to-earth, experience it all, family! Moved from Yass, New South Wales to Calgary for a jam-packed twelve months of fun.
Their kind friends gave them a photo shoot with me as a goodbye gift. Isn’t that the loveliest thing ever!??! Especially when they told me they had never had family photographs taken before! We had limited time to take them as November was out because Troy was growing some crazy ‘stash for Movember. And then, well you know, the craziness of December. They were leaving on the 29th and we managed to get our shoot on the 21st I think it was. I was up at Kananaskis Lodge with my family and they drove up for the shoot. And what a lovely day we had. Things just work themselves out! It was gorgeous.. getting a bit chilly near the end.. but heck they’re in Canada!!
So here they are, the beautiful Sicily family! Many families here are missing you already and I have a sneaky suspicion you may see many Canadians down your way in February’s and March’s to come!
