A Mount Royal University interior design student asked to come visit my studio as she was doing a project involving a photo studio/school. I was happy to show her my space. We could only do it on a Sunday as Harold was at a canoe course so I said I’d have to bring the kids. They were in the presentation room while I showed her around the shooting area. And this is what I came back to. Yes, I kinda forgot my beanbag that I use for newborn shoots was in the room. It just took one ‘zip’ and a bit of tossing around and voila… complete joy! He was literally swimming in it. And Hailey was just looking on not being a part of it, but knowing someone was going to be in trouble.
I’m not sure if any of you have dealt with the itsy bitsy balls from a beanbag but they are absolutely horrific to clean up. HORRIFIC. They are so static, cling to everything, are tiny, and just a pain in the, let’s say neck. It took me 3 hours to clean up. He had tracked it all through the studio as he tried to run away from me. Nope, I admittedly wasn’t the happiest mom in the world as I cleaned up a Sunday night. But I have to admit I have a smile on my face as I look at them now. Especially, the one of him in the corner to which he was banished.
