As Janet alluded, the months have slipped quickly by … and at last, a reprieve to share some of the beautiful moments that have unfolded over the autumn season. I’m approaching the 6-month anniversary mark of joining Visual Hues, and it has been a time of incredible learning and supportive mentoring and a time filled with calm, joyful and happy moments.
So, at long last, here are some of my favourite images from the past few months.
The first from the beautiful Fish Creek Park …. the perfect backdrop for these little ones, with curls for the world.
It is a wonderful thing to be around children, their curiosity, wonderment and innocence is refreshing. And when you see it in the eyes of a mum who is a close friend, even better.
and going back to the “On the Cusp” blog post from September, they had their sweet baby boy. And the laughter and the love was ever-evident, this young one is enveloped in love.
And I had the pleasure of travelling west of the city to Bragg Creek, to catch the early morning light, and to make a new little friend … and of course, to navigate around the deer in the neighbourhood.
before …the curiosity, the wonder and the miracle …
and after, the love.
and one of my favourite photo shoots from the summer. After a frantic start with a busted bicyle tire, the family, the light and the ethereal feel came together perfectly … and just in time before the weather turned cold.
until next time ….
