YOUR THOUGHTS, PLEASE! Calgary Newborn Photography

This baby, her family, just made you feel all the feelings you should as you welcome a new life into this world.   Joy.  Love.  Mushiness.  Awe.

There will be many more words and images to be shared on this shoot, but for now I am curious to know which of these two images speaks to people more.  The simplicity of the image without the background.  Or the addition of colour and pattern to generate more visual appeal.   This is one of the many features I love about our studio space.  How we can so easily add to an idea we have to alter it slightly and in the process create a different type of beauty.   Just loving our space so much!   And loving our clients that come visit us.

Let me know which you love by adding a comment below!

More to come very soon!

    Hi Janet
As always, your photography is awesome. I like both pictures, but I find the one with the colour in the background more striking. Just my opinion...

I love the pic with the pattern. Gives the picture a little more contrast/depth :D Plus I'm big into that specific pattern that seems so popular lately ;)

Hi Janet! I personally like the one without the background. As pretty as the pattern is, i think it takes away from the model. I found myself drawn to look at the background rather than the baby. It's a wonderful picture and I think the more simple backdrops/backgrounds really make them stand out more.

    Have a great weekend!

As much as I am in LOVE with Damask-----I'd have to say without is 100% better as the print takes away from the Beautiful Bambino!

wow..what a sweetheart, I agree the background creates artwork, without it features the baby, really would be up to the parents and what they are looking for. you share your gift generously!

I like the background. I think it softens it a bit. Although both are stunning. What a perfect face.

Oh Janet, these are both so beautiful! I love them both so much but if I HAD to pick, I'd choose the one without the background.
